1998 beetle gage problems

1998 vw beetle 5 speed gas Gage ,cruise control,tachometer and speedometer quit working what wrong? not the interment cluster fuse i checked it what else could not cause it to work?

The instrument cluster itself can be faulty. Could have a loose connection or some broken wires.

Check to the circuit first. Does it light up at all? Does anything on it work?

the engine light is on the headlights work brake lights.ect just the things i mentioned don't work
