I'm trying to remove the front valance of a 98 beetle.I know the front face comes off, easy.
I took off the two screws under the valance however, asides from the screws holding the fog lights togethor, can I just wedge off the front valance? Or will I break something? If you.can give me some advice to take off
the valance. Thank you very much

Let me start by saying, I'm not a body man. However, I have worked on vehicles for over 30 years. To be honest, I feel confident that there are more than two screws that hold it on. There should at least be clips that hold it in place. Have you checked everywhere for additional mounting locations?
