The radiator needs replacing and I can get hold of a 95 model will it fit , are they the same ????

It depends on a lot of things. First they must both be for either automatic or manual trnsmissions as automatic ones genrally have oil coolers in them.
You will be lucky if they are interchangeable as 3 years is a long time not to have a design change.
You can check for interchangeability by going to an online used parts dealer and looking up the radiator for your car. The other vehicle applications will be listed and that will tell you what will fit. But it still must be for the right transmission.
