Fitted ignition barrel to vauxhall astra, car starts for 10 seconds then stops, do I need to replace anything else, the car was running fine before hope you can help do I need to get some thing else as well, whats wrong with it

If you are referring to the key tumbler (ignition switch), you need to have the computer programmed to accept the new tumbler. Otherwise, the security system thinks the car is being stolen.
