when i put my key in, it doesn't grab, it just spins when you try to turn the truck on

i think its just replace the ignition but i am not even close to being a mechanic< my friend uses you guys he said to come here

the lock cylinder has failed and needs to be replaced. you need to check and see if it is available from the aftermarket or it may have to come from a dealer.

do you have any repair experience??

i suggest letting a shop do it that has the proper tools and experience.

If it is the starter motor that is whirring, you have a bad starter, not an ignition key problem.
