over drive light blinks at approximately 40km/h

Car engine changes sound and lose power. after some time the car goes back to normal. this has been happening for more than 2 months. what's the problem and what can do to solve it.

Have the trouble codes pulled. Some auto psrts stores will do it for free or a repair shop should either not charge or only charge for 15 minutes labor maximum.
