If you feel the vibration in the steering wheel only when there is a load on the engine, as in accelerating, suspect worn inner cv joint housings. On some cars there is an engine mount that is adjustable that will shift the engine a little one way. That will cause the rollers inside the inner cv joints to run in different areas. If that makes the vibration change, the inner cv joint housings should be inspected or the half shafts should be replaced.
