TRUNK LOCK WILLNOTOPEN EITHER WITH KEY OR LEVER RELEASE

tried unsuccefully to open trunk the key will not turn also tried the release lever and no reaction will not open

The emergency release lever inside the trunk doesn't work, either? This tells me the latch mechanism is completely shot. If the lock cylinder is completely frozen, this MIGHT cause the latch mechanism to not work. If you can get into the trunk, pull the clip that secures the lock cylinder and try to open the trunk with the emergency release. Try using a large flat-bladed screwdriver through the lock cylinder opening and turn the latch.
