transmission and speedometer not reading or shifting?

1998 TOYOTA CAMRY

When starting normal but when the car move forward the engine check light indicated ,at the same time OD light come on and off .Also the speed meter is not working .in doing that the ideal is very high.

So what are the exact code numbers not code descriptions that you have in the computer? You could have a bad speed sensor.

I agree with, SATURNTECH9 here is the location for the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) so you can swap it out which should fix the problem, clear the codes once the repair is completed. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
