Can I drive my 1998 Camry with a broken thermostat? The terrain that I drive is flat and the weather in between 40 to 60 degrees. What kind of damage, if any, can I expect?Terry

I took my Camry to a mechanic for a smog check, and he informed me that the thermostat is broken? What damage can I expect if I drive it with a broken thermostat?
