On my 1998 4WD SR5 4Runner, the ABS light is on and my break lights no longer work with the lights on or off. I have not checked fuses or my repair manual yet. Any ideas where to start?

check fuses for brake lights and have abs system scanned for codes to see where the problem lies. it could be a bad switch for the brake lights or turn sig switch
