Had to change lug stud. While reassembling, I discovered my front driver side brake caliper is seized. I have been using a C clamp but cannot get it unlocked. Does this require a special tool?

if it's seized you aren'tgoing to get it to open unless you try to open bleeder screw to see if it will go back. then replace BOTH front calipers if fluid comes out fast with no pressure applied to caliper then replace bBOTH hoses leading to calipers. check to make sure sliders in calipers are good as well as no rust on bracket so calipers can slide well

Thanks for your response. Could this have anything to do with the emergency brake being engaged? I am not at the car right now, and wanted to get as much information as possible before returning home
