parking lights

I have a 1999 Subaru Impreza-the corner and tail lights wont turn off-the switch is in the off position. I disconnected the battery and reconneced-no luck. Did the same with the fuse-no luck

I believe it is the stop lights that that are staying on. Check the brake pedal to brake switch contact for a missing rubber stopper leaving a small hole and not closing the brake switch.

I just had the same dilemma and I hope your issue is as simple as mine was - did you check the parking light switch on top of the steering column?
