rebuilt the rear brakes on a '98 Saturn. Now the hand brake has too much play. Is there brake fluid bleeding required for the hand brake or some other adjustment or could the new caliper be faulty ?

Don't you have brake shoe's in the rear?If that's the case sound's like you need to adjust the rear shoe's up like you do every time you put new shoe's on.You also do that to keep a good brake pedal.Then i would see how the ebrake handle feel's before adjusting it.It should pull up 5 click's when it's properly adjusted.Let me know and i will help you figure it out.
