I purchased this Saturn a few weeks ago with 215,000 miles.
I took the Saturn down to have it inspected today and it failed the OBDII. The following is a list of codes that I was given by the service tech. PO133 - O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Or Single Sensor 1) and PO341 - Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 1 or Single Sensor) These are the only two codes showing.

A friend said to replace the ECTG and O2 Sensor and also change the spark plugs and wires. I installed the ECTG yesterday and was looking in the spark plug wells today and one of them was full of oil. I used newspaper to get a lot of it out and clean it out.

My question is how do I fix the oil in the spark plug well. I have these new spark plugs and wires but it doesnt seem senseable to install them if oil is in the well. The other three spark plug wells are completly dry. I thought maybe I need to replace the valve seal gasket. Does anybody have any ideas.

Also the car seems to idle very rough when you start it I have noticed that the RPM's go down as it warms up. It sounds like something other than the engine is running and the idle is worse if the steering wheel is turned anyway but straight. The noise increases. I got some throttle cleaner and cleaned the throttle and seem to help a little but it still idle rough. Any ideas on this? I

For the p0133 code replace the o2 sensor in the exhaust manifold. For the code P0341 that is usually black carbon build up on the spark plug wire end where it goes on the spark plug's. Also inspect to coil tower's for being corroded. Most of the time it's plug's and wire's to fix the code P0341. Now your oil in the spark plug hole replace the valve cover gasket I recommend the felpro one. Make sure you put a bead of silicone across where the front cover meet the head on both side's of the head or you will end up with a big oil leak. Rpm's do go down some when it warms up how high does it idle when it's cold?As far as the rough idle do you mean you have a vibration? If so check the upper engine mount by the coolant bottle and see if it's torn or colasped pretty common for that mount to go bad.
