I have a 98 saturn sc1. Code po 341 keeps coming up. Before it had a code for evap system to. Think it was po440 or 441. Why does it get the 341. Dont have a cam sensor, do they. It does have 7 misfires on 2 and 10 on 3. Running 14.7 ratio. Checked for vac. Leaks and changed pcv valve. Have a 00 ls1 that gets a code for evap sometimes then goes back off. Found a clip for the plastic tubing running from back to front that was bad on it.

It usually sets that code from black carbon build up on the spark plugs and in the boots where they go onto the plugs. There is no cam sensor.

I did not put in new plugs or wires when I bought this one. Thought everything looked good. Maybe should put in new and that might help the few miss fires that I had. Last time I was talking about a sl2 and u suggested a certain plug? How about wires to. Is there a certain kind u prefer. Thanks

Yeah I would use NGK copper plugs no platnuim ones. For wires I would use some Nippon denso or some Bosch ones. That's where I would start plugs and wires that's the number one fix for that code.

I would inspect the gas cap seal for cracking also make sure both vacuum lines are on the canister purge solenoid. That's where I would start on that code.

And im guessing thats above the corner of the gas tank. When it first came on I changed pcv n it went out. After a while it came back on. I took the one from my 97 n tried it n thats when I just had the code for cam sensor. I had to change the preformed hose n just used regular gas hose. Thats why I tried the one from the 97. Hard to make those short bends n didnt no if it was sealling up ok. Thanks
