loud noise like a bad wheel bearing makes, but it's comming from the transmission where the right side axle enters the transmission. ?

Have you checked for excessive play where the axle connects? If that is where the noise is coming from, suspect a bad output bearing.

Based on which transmission you have, it could require disassembly.
