Temp gauge started going up and down so replaced the temp sensor worked fine for a couple of days now my engine light comes on & gauge is below cold mark? had diagnostic done it says its my temp sensor they cleared it & ran fine for a little while now engine light is back on & gauge not working again

clearing codes does nothing. the issue is always there.

thermostat may be a good start. low coolant level could be the issue.

the last is a blown head gasket from overheating

replaced thermostat , no white smoke coming from exhaust, or leaking in plugs , now when i started it today it didn't want to start & engine light still on could it be a bad thermostat? please help!!
