I HAVE A 98 PONTIAC SUNFIRE 2.2...I CHANGED THE IGNITION MODULE DUE TO THAT BEING A PROBLEM, IT RAN ABOUT 2 DAYS..NOW IT DOESNT HAVE SPARK IN THE 3RD CYLINDER ,BUT ONLY WHEN IT RAINING OR DAMP..WILL RUN GREAT IN THE SUN..I CHANGED THE COIL AND IT DIDNT CHANGE...COULD MY IGNITION MODULE BE FAULTY? could it be the line itself from the coil to the spark plug?

Did you visually check for spark at the cylinder in question? Move the coil to different position, see if problem follows the coil? One coil fires two plugs, check the companion cylinder?

Do an ohms test on the plug wire, see how it compares to the others.
