i blew the engine

ok geniuses...you have never failed me ...i blew engine...bought engine drove it a little now it wont start..why? im thinkin of buying this car...where should i start?

For an engine to run, it needs proper timing, spark, fuel, and compression. One of these has to be missing otherwise, the engine would have no choice other than to run. Check to see which is the problem and let me know.
