My gauge cluster is not working, would the computer accept the gauge cluster from another grand prix

Yes, as long as it is the same year, make, model, and style of cluster.

One more question, my fan for the a/c and heater only works on high if I get another switch would that fix it?

As far as the fan operation, most likely it's not the switch. Since it only works on high, the blower motor resister is most likely the problem. Check that first and let me know what you find.

After I googled how to replace a blower motor resister, I'm pretty sure that's it, I guess that it's pretty common with the 97-03 Grand Prix's ! I'll have to get that replaced ! Thank You very much !

They go bad on a lot of different cars.

It could be a couple things. First, check the simple ones. Make sure the parking brake switch is working and not causing it to stay on. Also, check for wiring to the MC to make sure If there is a sensor there, that isn't a problem.
