On my 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix, I rebuilt the motor and after first oil change the oil pressure sensor light came on dash. I replaced sensor light still on when idling goes off when rpm's increase? Help!

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal replace the pressure switch abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearings
