1998 Pontiac Bonneville Fuel Sending Unit Above Gas Tank Rusted Out

Problem: fuel sending unit above gas tank has rusted out and is leaking gas, my question is does the fuel pump come connected to the sending unit as one piece or can i just order the sending unit alone and just install the sending unit. please advise, thanks for your free service, its appreciated.

You should be able to by both items independently or as a combined unit, check major after market retailers

Hello, thanks for your reply. My mechanic insists that i have to purhase this part with the fuel pump, is this true or can i just buy the fuel sending unit which can be connected to the original fuel pump, as only this part is deffective leaking not the fuel pump? thanks for your help.
