Can go thru the glove box and take off the kick panel. 1 screw down there, 1 screw thru the glove box between the airbag and the box. https://www.2carpros.com/images/external/Heatercore98Bonneville.jpg

Just for clarity there are a few screws that you need to remove on this vehicle to get the compartment out.
