The heat hasn't worked in my car for months. The temperature on the dash flashes, it blows out cold air, and once in awhile a little warm air comes out, but never lasting longer than a few minutes.

have a shop with a scan tool look in the hvac system. all the motors can be tested through a scan tool to determine the failure
