Griding noise before it starts. Is the same noise you get if you had already started the car and try to start it again.

Yes, I have worked on cars before. But nothing major Tune ups and the like. I replaced breaks too.

Did you look for the starter? I checked and it looks easy? Undo 1of your battery posts first as a precaution against shorts/sparks from starter wires.

Yes, I did it does look easy. But from experince I did want to start the job and find out later that there was more to it then I thought. Thank you for the info. This is a great site!
