I have a 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager that I bought last year from my parents. It sat unused for a few years. The blinkers would only work once in a awhile and now they don't work at all. No clicking or anything. I'm considering replacing the turn signal flasher. Is there anything else I should check? Do you know where this is located in the vehicle?

It's plugged in above the gas pedal.

Do I need to remove anything to get to it?

Does this sound like the right piece to be replacing?

Can't remember if there's a plastic cover. We never just replace random parts without doing some diagnostics, but if you have a flasher unit on hand, plugging it in is a quick test to see if that solves the problem. Since it was intermittent for a while, it is more likely it has dropped out of its socket a little due to the weight. It may need nothing more than to be pushed back in all the way.
