car is overheating normal driving with heat on or without temp gauge climbs to hot after a short distance. know white smoke leaking hoses or water over flow just very hot and the fluid in the tank is a dirty brown i'm thinking thermostat

Check if the radiator fan is turning on. A failed electronic relay is a lot more likely than the thermostat.
