Door panel removal

I need to get the door panel off my driver's side door. THe window dropped into the door . What is the trick after the one screw in the door handle?

The door panel comes of with two screws; one philips and one torx. Now the window mechanism is proving very difficult to figure out.
I cannot get the window up past the drive motor attachment. The limited view is making it nearly impossible to guess how it all works.

A window regulator and motor combo package seems to be the only way a person can order the cable driven window mechanism. The part ranges from $176 to $385 depending on who you talk to and how long one is willing to wait for the shipment. Then, there's the labor...
