98 ply breeze 2.0. Initially was leaking coolant from waterpump inlet. Replaced part and no leak after. Car was running fine. Right after replaced brake pads. As soon as that was done, car started running rough, I dont think me replacing the pads had anything to do with it.I replaced plugs and wires. Coil is good, has good spark on all four. No check engine light, all 4 cylinders are fine, I took out the IAC, cleaned it, put it back and still runs rough. I replaced the timing belt and water pump at about 100k miles, it now has 104k miles. I checked for codes, nothing, all sensors seem to be ok. Very low idle, sometimes close to dying at idle, when acclerating, sounds good, runs good, only at start up and idle runs very rough, any other ideas, anything I can try, im running out of options. Thank you very much. Veh sat for about 12 months and only started maybe every 3 weeks

Clean out the EGR and PCV valves and test the throttle position sensor-recheck the idle air control motor/passages

Are you just putting it on the road after 12 months? Also, have you checked for vacuum leaks? Have you checked the EGR to make sure it isn't plugged with carbon as well as the intake where it bolts? Finally, if you are just putting it back on the road, did you drain the old fuel from the tank or is it 12 months old? Also, let me know if the check engine light comes on when this happens.

Let me know.

Joe
