why does my car run for awhile then stall out and i have to wait for upwards of 30 min to start back up

driving down the road and with no warning my car stalls and dies, all my power works and car turns over but will not start, i have to wait sometimes up to 30 minutes for it to start again, 1998 plymouth breeze with a 2.4 liter, like i said was driving down the road and it just dies, high spped (65+)

check for spark. if spark good check for fuel pump running.
