Where is the transaxle system sensor located on a 98 Silhouette?

This is the only sensor to the transmission : Automatic Transaxle Fluid Temperature (TFT) Sensor its inside the automatic transaxle

Ok. The manual says "if your vehicle seems to start up rather slowly, or if it seems not to shift gears as you go faster, something may be wrong with a transaxle system sensor". The car runs fine except I cannot start out in drive. Every other gear works to start driving. Once I get to about 20-25 mph I can shift back into drive and its fine. Any ideas?

Do you have a check engine light and when was last tune-up?

How's the transmission fluid level and condition?

Sounds like you got a transmission problem -could be a shifting solenoid/s bring her in and have pressure tested-
