I have a 1998 olds cutlass and it started ticingat idle and gets louder when u rev the engine?

Make sure the oil is clean and full. Also, you should check the oil pressure. Even if the gauge is saying that it is okay, there could be a problem. Check it with a mechanical gauge that most parts stores will lend to you. It will screw into the same spot as where your standard sending unit is located.
