1998 olds aurora, had oil & filter changed 1 week ago , now oil press. reads 6-7 @ idle, 25-30 @ 4k rpm. this has got to be way wrong, help. mike v

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if normal -replace he oil pressure switch

Jerk that changed my oil & filter, broke my pressure sending unit.
