Hello my car is making a soft thumping after driving, especially while idling.
The thumping can be felt under the floorboard of the
drivers side, and also the rpms bounce a little under
1 only slightly, but along side with the vibrations from the floorboard. Also the check engine light had been on since I've
had the car about 9 months now. Please can you help?

Have the motor mounts checked as well as the struts and there mounts.

I'm unsure off the actual code, it was something to do
with the gas tank, called a something canister. Inn unsure, but
the thumping isn't all the time, but it gradually gets worse
