1998 Nissan Maxima clicking noise when i brake.

I just noticed when I brake both front drivers side and passenger side brakes make a clicking noise. It is very loud and concerns me. Please help me understand what it is and how do I fix it. Thank you.

Usually that's caused by a warped rotor causing the caliper to slide back and forth on its mount once per wheel revolution, and it catches on worn spots on those mounts. The brake pads can be loose too but that usually causes noise when the brakes are not being applied. Neither of those conditions are a safety issue.
