Transmission not working properly after overhauling the engine?

4g64 recently overhauled engine immaculate, Previous to Auto shop works, AT working fine and shifting normal, after overhaul AT is locked in 3rd gear with neutral light indicator blinking, tried shift up or down using manual selector without luck.

Is this sensor mounted on the At with 3 wires green, blue white and brown pluged into it? If so then yeas its broken.

I hate to say it, but I don't have the specifics on this model. However, it would be mounted on the trans and chances are what you are looking at is the sensor.

Mmmm same same. Hard to find specs NE way its broken and should be fixed, how do you remove though it looks like plastic?

If there is no retaining bolt holding it in place, it should just screw into place.

Jacobandnickolas, on same vehicle I recently had an overhaul, changed gasket and rings and coils, after vehicle omits very heavy smoke. After overhaul still smoking after engine gets hot but very light blue white colour smoke still omitts ne idea?

White smoke usually indicates that coolant is getting into the combustion chamber. Is the vehicle using any coolant? Also, check the oil to see if there is any contamination. When you replaced the rings, did you check the end gap clearance to make sure it didn't need to be over sized? Also, was anything done with the valves or valve stem seals?
