I have a 1998 mirage that just died one evening. It has fire fuel and air will turn over without hesitation but will not start. I have had the car timed and rechecked to make sure it was right and all the marks line up and it still wont start. What could it be?

Sorry after reading that back it didnt sound right to me.
I do know that one plug was removed and was wet after trying to start it after setting the timing.

No I did not squirt fuel but I did spray starter fluid in the intake before any thing was done to check and make sure it was getting fuel. I also have check each plug for fire. Once timing was done and it still would not start we tried starter fluid again and it didnt even try to start.

Try disabling fuel pump and drying out plugs to see if you can get it to fire up.
