Car won't go over 25 mph

Why is my car acting so weird. It runs well for a few days and then it starts to sputter and it won't go over 25 mph!!!

Nothing shows up on the computer. We have put it on the diagnostics machine several times and each time everything checks out normal. This has to be an issue that can't be detected by a diagnostics machine.

When it has the issue do you have to let up on the gas for it to shift?
