Have you acutally tested the spark or are you just assuming? If you have not pull a spark plug lead of at put it against (but not touching) a metal part of the engine, such as a engine hook or the manifold. Get someone to crank the engine and if you see a spark coming out of the lead you will have spark. Also, have you managed to get the car to start since it broke down? Let me know how the spark test goes and i will advise further.
