new power steering pump but its making a whine noise?

1998 eclipse rs 105,000 miles, new power steering pump.. but its making a whine noise and i don't think i bled the air out correctly. I have a new power steering pump and i was driving without fluid for a little while cause i heard you had to bleed the air out. i put fluid in on feb 1st,turned my car on and turned the wheels from left to right, its easier to turn but it makes a whine sound.
