The car worked wonderful the first two weeks I had it! Now, it will start just fine and will run while its cool but once it gets hot it dies. AND when coming to a stop and trying to go. The car is a 98 Eclipse GST Spyder. I have to keep reving it for anything to happen. There will be white smoke, then it will start running like normal.
I have took to Advance Auto and they hooked it up to the computer thing and they said the codes read for a FUEL CONTROL SWITCH and SOLENOID (in the tranny?). I read some things on the internet and someone mentioned their problems and they were identical to mine. An answer mentioned the THROTTLE BODY and when I took it off there was oil. What could this mean?
I NEED HELP!

As for checks that you can do

Check fuel pressure do an injector leak test (if possible)
Check MAF sensor and clean
