Hear a clicking noise after turning ignition...what is the noise and whats the best way of getting it fixed?

After turning the ignition theirs a clicking/grinding noise for about 3 seconds and then it runs fine after that.

Check and test the battery and connections if okay-could be the starter relay and starter motor
