Any one have an idea on what I should check first before I buy any parts for it. I heard it could be the fuel pump or the filter or possible just a bad O2 sensor or a vacuum leak that's causing it.

Check for vacuum leaks around the manifold first, often a o2 sensor code is not a faulty sensor but if you can get a live data read of the sensor if it is not changing voltage it will probably be faulty.
