1998 Mercury Mystique fuel reset

I found a push in button under the glove box. Is that the reset for the fuel pump? If it is, does it need to be in/out to be working right?

That is the Inertia switch. The red button stays down. If it trips it will pop up and would need to be pushed back down.

Right on top if you are looking at the right part. I thought it was in the back of the car though.

Didn't see anything in trunk of this car. Looking under dash below glove box. I just cant get info on where this "red" reset button is located at. " Please" let my know.

It's on the driver's side behind the kick panel.
