Alarm System

I have a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer and the alarm goes off no reason at all after i lock it down is there something wrong with my alarm system.

I do not know much about these things, Imma Jeep CJ Guy, answer CJ forums with confidence.

I believe I read at another post (Vehicle?)

To reset the system, manually lock and shut all doors, then open driver door with the key.

This was more than likely, a Ford or Jeep Product.

Thats where I look for new "Victims" to answer, As the CJs seldom break and I have nothing else to do, 'cept sit around like the "Maytag Man"
