I have a 98 Grand Marquis that needs a new fuel pump. I have 3/4 tank of fuel in the tank how can I drain the tank? It has an anti-syphon device in the fuel line.

IF YOU CAN GET LOW ENOUGH

YOU CAN "POSSIBLY" BREAK YOUR FEED LINE FROM THE TANK TO THE FUEL RAIL LOOSE, PRIOR TO THE RAIL.

ATTACH A REALLY LONG RUBBER FUEL LINE---5/16--3/8 OR WHAT EVER WILL FIT TIGHT AND SEAL THE LINES TOGETHER

THEN SIPHON FROM THAT POINT, UTILIZING THE CARS FUEL LINE AND PICK-UP IN THE BOTTOM OF THE TANK AS "AN EXISTING HOSE"!

WE'VE DONE THIS ON OTHER CARS, THERE IS A DROP OFF BESIDE THE DRIVEWAY, TO GET REALLY LOW

IT DOES TAKE A WHILE

BE CAREFUL. DON'T BURN NOTHIN' DOWN---HAVE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER NEAR-BY

DON'T WALK OFF AND LET IT OVER FLOW FROM BOREDOM!

HOPE IT WORKS
