when i plug anything into the cig litgher it blows device fuses or starts devises to smoke. i have checked voltage at cig lighter and found it to be 14volts not 12volt...what can I do to fix this problem to be able to plug things into lighter port ie cell phone or gps....

14 is standard alternator output voltage. should not effect devices.
