how do i remove inner cv tri-ball housing from the gearbox on mazda 323

The Inner joint is plugged in and held inplace by a spring clip. You can use a pry bar to pry it out, unless youy have the special tool for pulling it out.

If it is too tight, a pry bar on each side of the joint would make it easier.
