Loud, steady noise seems to be coming from the front left wheel of my Lexus LS400 (1998) as I reach speeds of 30-35 mph. Could this be caused by worn wheel bearing?

What type of noise is it, squeal, growl, knock, etc.
Does anything change it like applying brakes, turning, accelerating, etc.

Noise is more like tire-to-road surface roar; no vibration, no change when braking or turning. Tire is 1 year old and has little tread wear. Thanks.

If you eliminate the tires themselves as the cause, the the front hub bearing is likely
